Mitch would spend a single season here learning the ropes before making a move to his sport of choice, attaining the role of head of strength and conditioning with Curtin University Football Club’s State League Men’s Soccer program at the end of 2019. Mitch would go on to work in this role for a further 3 years, refining his skills in strength and conditioning while simultaneously developing an understanding of sport science with access to Catapult GPS units in addition to cutting his teeth in the sports rehabilitation realm as he commenced his MSc in Clinical Exercise Physiology.

Workers Comp Bio:

Mitch joined the team at West Coast Health & High Performance following 6-months working in mining as an Exercise Physiologist, and 12-months as a rehabilitation consultant with Konekt WorkCare.

With the above-mentioned experience; Mitchell has seen the good, bad and ugly with the clinical side of workers compensation, understanding best practice within the realm of rehabilitation, while also understanding the interests, needs and wants of the varrious parties involved in a worker’s compensation claim.

With this knowledge, Mitch feels he can provide a superior service, effectively reducing return-to-work timeframes while maintaining timely and succinct communication with relevant parties to assist in accurate progressions in capacity and patient-centred care.
